What I collect, and what I do with it.

What reaches me

There is no account to make and nothing to log in to. Two forms are the only things on this site that ask you for anything, and both are optional.

• The enquiry form. Your name, your email address, and whatever you write about what you are stuck on. Those are the only three fields, and there is nothing hidden behind them.
• The whitepaper waitlist. An email address, and nothing else. I use it once, to send you the paper when it is finished.

You can skip both and write to me directly instead, and plenty of people do. Either way what I hold is what you chose to send: your address, your name, and whatever you told me about your business. A privacy request goes to the same mailbox, and I read it myself.

Why I hold it

To answer you, to carry the conversation on, and if work follows, to run the project. If you joined the waitlist, to send you the paper once. There is no third purpose. I do not build a profile of you, I do not score you, I do not add you to a list you did not ask for, and I do not run advertising of any kind.

How long it stays

An enquiry that goes nowhere is deleted within two years of the last message between us, and sooner if you ask. An enquiry that becomes work is kept while the work runs, and then for as long as Singapore accounting and tax rules require those records to be kept. After that it goes. A waitlist address is deleted once the paper has gone out, or the moment you ask, whichever comes first. You can shorten any of these by asking, and I will not ask you why.

Who else sees it

Nobody. I do not sell your details, rent them, trade them, or hand them to a marketing firm acting for me. There is no such firm. Two ordinary exceptions are worth naming plainly, because pretending they do not exist would be dishonest.

• Email itself. Your message travels through, and then sits in, the provider that carries kenny@rtsnstudios.com. That is true of every email anyone sends to anyone.
• The service that carries the form. A form submission is turned into an email by Resend, which delivers it to that same mailbox. It passes through their systems on the way, as any email does through any mail service, and they keep a short delivery record. They are not given your details for any other purpose, and nothing is stored on this website itself.
• The law. If a Singapore court or regulator compels disclosure, I comply. Short of that, no.

Measurement

There is none. This site runs no analytics: no page-view counter, no session recording, no third-party tag. I do not know who visits, or how many. The host that serves these pages keeps ordinary server logs for a short period so the site can be delivered and kept up, in the way every web host does. If I ever add a counter, this section will say so before it starts, not after.

Fonts

The type is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches the font files from Google and Google sees that request, including your IP address. That is the only other party your browser talks to while this page is open. Everything else, the drawings, the animation and the pictures, is part of the page itself.

What stays on your machine

No cookies. That is why you have never seen a banner here. One small thing goes into your browser’s session storage, rtsn.impression, so the opening animation plays once instead of every time you move between pages. It never leaves your machine and it disappears when you close the tab. If you would like to watch the opening again, add ?replay to the address.

Your rights

Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 is the law that applies here, and I would rather you used it than wondered.

Ask what I hold

Email and ask. I will tell you what I have about you and how it has been used, normally inside 30 days. If it takes longer, I will say so and give you a date.

Ask me to correct it

If something I hold is wrong, tell me. I will fix it, then confirm back to you that it is fixed.

Withdraw consent, or ask me to delete

Say the word and your address comes out of the mailbox and off the waitlist. There is no procedure to follow and no retention offer. An email saying “delete me” is enough.

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. No silent edits. If I ever start collecting something new, it appears here before it starts.
