The short version

One email address, and only if you send it.

Your email address reaches us only when you email us. Nothing on this site takes it from you.
We use it to reply, or to send the letter you asked for. Nothing else.
We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or pass it to advertisers.
Ask what we hold and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will.
This site sets no cookies. That is why you have never seen a banner here.

What we collect

An email address, in two ordinary ways.

Both of them are plain mailto: links. Your own mail program opens, you write the message, you decide whether to press send. You are never typing into this website, and this website stores nothing you write.

An enquiry: The “Book a Free Call” and consult buttons open a message to kenny@rtsnstudios.com. What we then hold is whatever you chose to write: your address, your name if you signed it, and whatever you told us about your business. You control that entirely.
The newsletter: “Add me to Notes from RTSN” opens a message asking to be put on the list. We hold your address on that list until you ask to come off it.

A privacy request goes to the same mailbox. It is the only address we have, and Kenny reads it himself.

Why we hold it

To answer you, and to send what you asked for.

An enquiry: to reply, to carry the conversation on, and if work follows, to run the engagement.
The newsletter: to send Notes from RTSN, roughly monthly. Every issue carries a way off the list, and a reply saying “stop” works just as well.

There is no third purpose. We do not build a profile of you, we do not score you, and we do not run advertising of any kind.

How long we keep it

Only as long as it is doing something.

An enquiry that goes nowhere: deleted within 24 months of the last message between us, and sooner if you ask.
An enquiry that becomes work: kept while the engagement runs, then for as long as the records of that work have to be kept under Singapore accounting and tax rules. After that it goes.
The newsletter list: your address stays on it until you leave. When you leave, the address is removed rather than flagged.

You can shorten any of these at any time by asking. We will not ask you why.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your details, rent them, trade them, or hand them to a marketing firm acting for us. There is no such firm. Two ordinary exceptions are worth naming plainly, because pretending they do not exist would be dishonest.

Email itself. Your message travels through, and then sits in, the mail provider that carries kenny@rtsnstudios.com. That is true of every email anyone sends to anyone.
The law. If a Singapore court or regulator compels disclosure, we comply. Short of that, no.

Analytics

We count page views. We cannot count you.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device. Visitors are counted using a hash worked out from the incoming request, and that identifier is discarded after 24 hours.

What it records is the sort of thing any web server log records: the page, the page you arrived from, a rough location (country, region, city), browser and operating system, device type, and a timestamp.

There is no row in there we could point at and say “that was you”, and we have no wish to be able to. We look at which writing gets read, and that is the whole of it.

Fonts

The one request that leaves your browser.

The type here is DM Sans, Newsreader and DM Mono, served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser fetches those files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which means Google sees your IP address and the fact that a page on this site loaded.

Nothing comes back to us from that request, and we hold no account there tied to you. We name it because it is the one piece of your data that reaches somebody else simply because you visited, and you should hear that from us rather than find it yourself.

Cookies

None. Two small things stay on your machine.

This site sets no cookies at all, which is why there is no consent banner. Two pages do keep a small note in your own browser storage so they behave sensibly when you come back. Neither ever leaves your machine, and neither is readable by us.

Playground remembers which pieces you have already finished, under the key rtsn-playground-v1.
Case studies remembers where you were on the street so the back button returns you to the right shopfront. It is cleared as soon as it is read.

Clearing your browser data removes both. Nothing breaks if you do.

Your rights

Singapore’s PDPA governs all of this.

RTSN Studios is a Singapore studio, and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 is the law that applies. Under it, you can do the following, and we would rather you did than wondered.

Ask what we hold: Email and ask. We will tell you what personal data we have about you and how it has been used, normally inside 30 days. If something takes longer, we will say so and give you a date.
Ask us to correct it: If anything we hold is wrong, tell us and we will fix it, then confirm back to you that it is fixed.
Withdraw consent, or ask us to delete: Say the word and your address comes off the list and out of the mailbox. There is no form, no retention offer, and no “are you sure?”. An email saying “delete me” is enough.

If this page changes, the date changes with it.

No silent edits. If we ever start collecting something new, it appears here before it starts, not after.
